Shipping Information

Canada Tulle Ltd ships by parcel service only, providing full shipment tracking and insurance.  We have solid partnerships with the major carriers.  Our shipping estimator will provide a cost for each available service, and an approximate delivery date.  If you are ordering from outside Canada or the USA, please contact us for a shipping quote. International shipments are not cheap, but we will do what we can to offer the best possible option.

Our rates are very reasonable to most destinations, and we do refund overages due to estimator errors.  Likewise, our shipping estimator is exactly that: An estimator.  In the event that shipping charges are higher than estimated, we will contact you to arrange other options or to pay for the increased charge.

Canadian Customers: We ship thousands of packages through our partners and offer the best rates available through a direct quote from the carrier. The options shown are the ONLY shipping options we offer, however for really large orders (1 skid or more) we can quote motor freight.  


Our products all ship from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.  This provides a savings compared to importing from the USA.  Consider that a standard courier package from the USA receives a minimum $5 (USPS) or $7 (UPS) customs fee for orders between $20-50 and higher for larger orders!  Imported product is still subject to the HST, including the shipping costs... There are no customs or brokerage fees for our Canadian customers.

USA Customers: Our fabric is manufactured in North America. Although there is no duty for tulle orders to the USA, any courier shipment over $200 requires customs brokerage. Fabric orders over $250, regardless of the fact that it was manufactured in the USA or not, requires a 'formal entry for customs' and is subject to inbound bonds, and other craziness from the US government.  We have no control over this.

International Customers:  All orders shipping to destinations other than Canada have a risk of brokerage, duty and tax charges. These charges, if any, are the customer's responsibility.  Contact us for more details, HS codes, etc.  Our tulle ships with HS code 5804.10 for customs purposes.  Please note that although our Tulle is made in North America, many of our other products are made throughout the world, including China. These products may have a different customs treatment.

Shipping Dates: Our carriers pick up packages first thing in the morning. It is virtually impossible for us to ship an order same-day. Orders received BEFORE 9am on any business day will be packed on the same day, and picked up by our courier the next morning.  Orders placed AFTER 9am on any business day will be packed on the NEXT business day and picked up the following business day (ie. 2 days after ordering). If you have a critical shipment that needs to be processed immediately, please contact us and we will do what we can to accommodate, however rush orders are not guaranteed and may be subject to a surcharge on shipping.  Please note that the dates listed as delivery estimates online are NOT guaranteed delivery dates, but should be reasonable most of the time.

Delivery Timelines: Delivery is within 5 days of courier pickup to most of Canada. For most locations near Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton and Montreal, you will usually receive your order the day after it ships. The guaranteed delivery times for Expedited Parcel are available on the Canada Post website and are counted from the day AFTER your order ships. The estimated delivery time on the check-out page is a best guess, and may not be exact.  Holidays, Labour Disputes, Extreme Weather and Inventory Shortages may impact delivery time. For deliveries by FedEx to COMMERCIAL properties, FedEx guarantees the quoted delivery timeframe. In the event your package is delivered more than 1 day late, we can apply for a shipping refund on your behalf. The guarantee does not apply to residential addresses.

Refunds: All sales are considered final, however we will do what we can to 'make it right' in the event of a problem. Contact customer service if there is a problem with your order. In all cases, shipping charges are final and non-refundable, and returns require an RMA number to be processed. Return shipping is always the responsibility of the customer, however in the event of defective merchandise, we may be able to offer alternative solutions.  DO NOT discard any packaging or product until you are satisfied with the resolution of your problem.

In the event that we authorize a return of resalable merchandise, a restocking fee of 15% of the non-discounted value of the product will apply.  There is never a restocking fee for defective product.
